Falling in love with Budapest

Are you planning a trip to Europe? Visit Budapest!. Two cities in one, Buda and Pest. Buda is the historic neighborhood and Pest is the commercial area where tourists spend more time.

Currency

The currency is called Hungarian Forint (HUF). We changed Euros at the airport in order to have some cash with us. The exchange rate wasn’t very good, but it was necessary to have some Florins to pay the taxi.

Our Hotel was awesome!. One day, looking at Hotels.com, we found a great offer for a 5 stars hotel. The room included breakfast buffet, free access to the spa and entrance to the VIP Lounge. The Lounge was open almost all day and you could eat and drink whatever you want. There were Bulgarian wines, champagne, beers and finger food. Obviously, you can imagine where we spent most of the time on this trip.

Due to our limited knowledge of the Hungarian language and even though, we found many people who spoke English, we decided to get on a tourist bus (drop on, drop off). In two days, we visited the most representative sites in Budapest.

While exploring Budapest, try the sweet Transylvania bread. It cost 5 Florins and it’s delicious!

Budapest also offers a great Nightlife, thermal baths, and spas. Definitely, this city is a lot of fun.
